MY PASSION IS MY MISSION

Putting My Experience to Work

Robert Kolpak moved to Henry County in 1990 and graduated from Stockbridge High in 1992. He worked in the trucking industry for 30 years for various companies most notably R&L Carriers and Estes Express, he has the distinction of holding every position inside a trucking terminal. Robert started as an entry level dockworker and climbed the ladder to Terminal Manager and Regional Operations Manager. He traveled the continental United States trouble shooting under performing facilities and making the facility reach and exceed company goals by applying company policies and procedures. Robert managed facilities in Baltimore MD, Richmond VA, Chattanooga TN and Atlanta GA. Teaching, training and holding employees accountable was the key to running profitable efficient facilities.

In July 2019 he became active in the community when Henry County closed Cochran Park, the plan was to remove baseball fields and replace them with Pickleball courts. Robert and a team of passionate coaches and community members fought to have the county change that decision. They demanded that county repair and reopen the park with baseball fields for the kids to have a park in their community. They were successful in getting Cochran Park reopened and proud to report that kids of all ages are playing currently playing baseball in that park. He also helped get repairs made at the following parks Hidden Valley, Richard Craig, Mickie D. Cochran and Sandy Ridge BMX. Robert coaches soccer and baseball at Salem Sports  in Mcdonough GA and also coaches baseball out of Richard Craig Park in Mcdonough GA. Robert is a former Big Brother in the Big Brother Big Sister of America to little brother Quran.

Robert currently is a Realtor working for Keller William Atlanta Partners. He knows the difference between quality development and quantity development. Robert has spoken out at many commissioner meetings demanding higher standards and amenities for the new communities being proposed in the Henry County area.

Robert's biggest attribute is he makes common sense decision, he listens to the community and demands max effort from himself and his team. Robert will work with his fellow board members and the local cities to support a community where residents can proudly call home.
